EFFECTS OF EMPLOYEE VOICE ON ORGANISATIONAL COMMITMENT OF OIL AND GAS COMPANIES IN LAGOS STATE NIGERIA

The study examined the effect of employee voice on organisational commitment oil and gas companies in Lagos State Nigeria. type survey research design method employed for was cross sectional design. population consists 1724 employees three selected State. Krejcie Morgan (1970) sample size calculation table used to estimate 313 employees. Simple random sampling study. Copies validated structured questionnaire were data collection. To establish reliability instrument, a test-retest used. statistical techniques analysis includes: descriptive statistics, multiple regression analysis. Findings showed that workplace meetings (? = 0.408, P < 0.05), participation decision making 0.126, 0.05) supervisor-subordinate mutual relationship 0.368, has positive organizational commitment. 61% change can be explained by variables voice. concluded significantly predict recommended amongst others should encourage culture where feel comfortable expressing their opinions ideas. Foster an environment empowered share perspectives engage discussions with colleagues superiors.
